Peer Review Process

After the article passes the plagiarism-checking stage, each manuscript will be reviewed by at least two independent referees (double-blind) who are within the subject area. Whether the article is accepted or not will be discussed with the editorial board. Checking plagiarism using Turnitin. 

Starting from December 2023, In the review process, Istinbath involves writers, editors, section editors, and reviewers. Where in the review process, Istinbath applies the Double-Blind Review and Double Peer Review model to maintain confidentiality. Every submitted manuscript is checked first by the editor. If the article meets the focus and scope and the Istinbath writing guidelines, then the document is continued to the reviewer to review the content and novelty of the manuscript. Otherwise, the manuscript will be returned to the author. A minimum of 2 reviewers will review each document for approximately 3-4 weeks with the criteria for assessing the manuscript as stated in the Article Assessment Form for Reviewers. Articles that have been submitted take an average of about 8 weeks to publish.
